2023-24 Lecture Series: Become Increasingly Knowledgeable

Announcing the new line to our SAC(K) motto: Become increasingly Knowledgeable.

Our annual lecture series has always been about learning how to live with Parkinson’s by learning about the symptoms, the treatments, and how to adapt to the challenges.

The 2023-2024 series includes seven main lectures from September to April, additional pop-up lectures, and possible small group discussion sessions. Topics will include staying safe, physical therapy, caregiving, cutting edge treatment, nutrition, and more.

Our seven main lectures are held on the first Friday of each month. As usual, in December the lecture is replaced with a holiday luncheon. If you want to attend the lectures in person, they are held at GVR Las Campanas Center (565 W Belltower Drive) at 2:00 pm. Arrive early so that you don’t miss the announcements and the introduction of the speaker(s).

We will also present the lectures virtually in real time (via Zoom) for those who want to watch from home. When possible, we will record and post them on our YouTube channel.
