Committees

The Parkinson’s Support Group of Green Valley operates through the following committees, per Article V of the By-laws.

  • Executive Committee – corporate and organizational responsibility for the organization
  • Finance Committee – fiscal responsibility for the organization
  • Marketing/Public Relations Committee – oversees publicity, marketing and publications, including newsletter
  • Hospitality Committee – organizes refreshments at events and meetings
  • Outreach Committee – calls or visits members, distributes greeting cards, greets members and assists with nametags at educational meetings
  • Activities Committee – coordinates health fair booths, tours, educational workshops, social events, SAC Club
  • Technology and Innovation Committee – oversees technology and innovation initiatives, website, social media
